The food was very good. I had the chicken special the night I was there. The chicken was the most tender chicken I have ever had at an Italian restaurant. The sauce was excellent. The seasoning was good. I personally like a little more salt, but I didn't need to add any. The service was excellent. We tipped 25%. What they need to do is hire someone to paint and decorate the dining room.

BLOWN AWAY! Do not judge a book by its cover, this mom and pop local staple may seem modest and simple - the flavors are bold and authentic. You get started with the most amazing garlic knot for the table , then I ordered the clams - 5 stars! So delicious, perfectly salted, and paired deliciously with garlic toast. Then a bar pie and calamari to share - both were crispy and delicious. I ended up adding calamari on top of my pie and eating it that way. I cannot wait to come back and order more things on the menu. This place is a hidden gem. 5 stars.

Old school Jersey Italian restaurant with a classic menu and the flavors and cooking style that brings you right back to Mom's kitchen. No bells and whistles because they don't need it the food speaks for itself. This is a great weeknight spot to dine or call them for take out. I enjoyed how they had all the classics with some creative specials. I got the salmon special and it was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was delicious. When you go make sure you ask for a second round of garlic knots, you'll thank me later!

Good food and plenty of it. They start you with a huge garlic knot followed by salad. Had Chicken Parmesan over pasta and it was excellent. There was a good amount of people coming in for take out pizza and sit in dining. Overall, it’s real Italian food made by good people.

Great food and top notch service and staff. We wanted a quiet meal with fantastic food. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. We will be back!

Delivery is not their thing. I actually got a sigh on the phone when I said delivery like I was bothering them. If I wanted sausage with a lot of cheese sauce I would’ve made it myself. Supposed to be stuffed mushrooms. And don’t even get me going on the artichokes francese with no bread??!! And the chicken fingers and fries with no BBQ or HM??!! Very sad

1st time trying here based on Google reviews. Just my wife & I. We really enjoyed our meal there! Had the fried calamari as an appetizer. It was perfectly cooked & the aïoli sauce was a tasty touch in addition to the marinara sauce, which apparently has been improved since not so good reviews of the marinara sauce were posted in January. we thought the marinara sauce on the calamari, and our entrées was very good today. we had a salad and the pasta fagioli before our entrées. Both were good. The pasta fagioli was very, very hot In addition to in a large bowl and tasty. my wife had the eggplant parmigiana which is a favorite of hers. She thought this eggplant parmigiana was very delicious because it was thinly sliced & egg washed, which she prefers, versus being heavily breaded & fried. I had the cavatelli Bolognese, which, based on an earlier review on Google I was not certain of, but Maria our waitress convinced me it had been newly improved since reviews from several months ago, so I tried it. It was delicious! The cavatelli pasta was very good, and I thought the Bolognese sauce was delicious! After the calamari, pasta, fagioli, and salad. We were both unable to finish our entire entrées, not that we would have otherwise because we wanted to save room to try a dessert. We shared a slice of New York cheesecake, which was very nicely presented and equally as delicious as the rest of our meal. Maria was our server, and she was very helpful with suggestions, very friendly, and very attentive. To be honest, the atmosphere was just OK. there was a pretty good karaoke singer with a nice voice, singing decent songs, but he was too loud until I think enough customers expressed concern & the volume was turned down. My wife and I ate in the separate bar area, so the sound level was more tolerable in that room. overall, I would give the restaurant a 7.5 to 8 out of 10. A few improvements to the atmosphere would probably take that up 1 to 1.5 points.

Overall great experience. Felt very welcome at the restaurant. I walked in and was greeted right away, the employees were very nice and helpful. The chef in the back makes all the food with speed and love which makes this place my #1!! Definitely would recommend eating here.
